EXPERIMENTAL SILK SCREEN PRINTING WITH QUILTING
These art quilts started with the marks made by screen printing with human rubbish used as resist under the screen. Bottle tops, rubber bands, hessian and plastic string, meat skewers, plastic packaging, old tape, feathers, garden prunings, throwaway plates and icecream sticks have been salvaged and reused. Dye paint and textured quilting complete the works.

Lids which are usually throw out rubbish are printed and highlighted with quilting to create this highly textured, "birds eye view" landscape.

Two landscapes stretch to the horizon in bright tonal layers. Combining these landscapes
sideways evokes the patterns of traditional Macedonian aprons, part of my heritage.
Couching with various yarns adds extra colour to this art quilt.
