EXPERIMENTAL SILK SCREEN PRINTING WITH QUILTING
Most of the works in folio 5 are the result of a Ghan rail trip from Adelaide to Darwin with imagery from these spectacular landscapes very visible. The works start with unusual and varied, man-made and natural objects used as resist under the silk screen while printing. Extensive dye painting brings colour depth while quilting adds the dimension of texture which Judi NIkoleski loves in her art quilts.
